What foods are recommended for the O blood type diet?
Well, for those of you who have blood type O there are some examples of food recommendations.
Since you have a good digestive tract, consume high-protein foods like meat and fish. Fish contains omega 3, which is good for the brain and lowers bad cholesterol levels in the blood.
Don’t forget to eat green vegetables or nuts too. They contain antioxidants that are good for the body.
In addition, you should also drink milk, cheese and yoghurt as they can be a source of energy for your activities.
How to go about the O blood type diet?
To make the diet more effective, what foods, vegetables and fruits are good to eat and avoid? Let’s take a look.
1. Fish and meat
As mentioned earlier, fish and meat are good for blood type O. But, seafood and red meat are highly recommended as they help in weight loss. For example, beef, lamb, poultry, cod, mackerel.

2. Fruits and vegetables
Fruits that are very beneficial for blood type O are bananas and mangoes. While honey melon, cantaloupe, durian are among the types of fruits that should be limited in consumption.
For vegetables, you can eat celery, spring onions, spinach, beans, broccoli, and kale.
However, avoid cabbage, cauliflower, shintake mushrooms, potatoes, and corn.
3. Nuts
There are several types of legumes that should be limited such as corn, wheat, navy beans, kidney beans.
4. Sports
A proper diet should be followed by exercise as it will provide maximum results for weight loss and maintain a healthy body.
Suitable exercises for you are aerobics, jogging or you can do physical activities such as martial arts.
5. Supplements
Take supplements because they are needed to support immunity. Especially supplements that contain vitamin B, calcium, and vitamin C so that your body condition will always be vit and ready for any activity.
